Natural Horsemanship, David Stuart, Equine Ethologist, Ex Senior Parelli Instrutor

CQ Natural Horsemanship instructor and Equine Ethologist comes to Bundaberg on the 10th and 11th of March.

The instructor:
David grew up on his family’s cattle property in Central Queensland. Horses and livestock were part of his everyday life. After completing a 2 year training course at the Emerald Agricultural College, David attained a scholarship to study advanced horsemanship. This included studying with Ray Hunt and peaked by completing a Horse Masters Diploma with the Australian Academy of Equitation.

Subsequently, David studied and participated in the PNH program with the Parelli organization in the USA. During the 15 years of his involvement with Parelli, David completed extensive training in the areas of natural horsemanship and horse training as well as teaching people. In 2004, David became one of the most senior and accomplished Parelli professionals.

Currently, David holds the position of the director of programme development for Equine Ethology U.K. He conducted a number of clinics and workshops throughout Australasia, North America, the U.K., Europe and the United Arab Emirates. Apart from workshops and clinics, David held demonstrations in the Burghley Horse Trials, demonstrations for her Majesty the Queen of England and for the Dubai Royal Family.

Hosts and Course:
Phoenix House is as specialist counselling service and provides a number of therapy programs including animal assisted therapy. One of our rising stars is he Equine Therapy program for young people and children. This program is based on the principles of Natural Horsemanship and aims at achieving Partnership with the horse on the ground.

We feel privileged to host David’s course in Natural Horsemanship. The course is open to the public and will be held in beautiful Moore Park near Bundaberg. It is an excellent opportunity for horse people who are also horse lovers to improve and build on our current levels of horsemanship. The course will be conducted on 10 – 11 March 07.
